Launched in 2001, the Dot NAME universal domain name extension is the sole TLD intended for personal web pages only. These domain names can consist of personal or fictional names, aliases and/or other designations people are known by. Initially, only third-level registrations were allowed, so if you wanted to secure john.doe.name, you would have to do that under .doe.name. In 2004, however, the registration process was loosened and 2nd-level registrations were also allowed. Already registered third-level domain names remained working.

Through our company, you can secure your dot NAME domain for an interval between one and ten years. You will have the opportunity to switch the WHOIS contact info, to park your domain, to modify Custom DNS records, etc. You can also move over an already purchased domain to our firm if you get its EPP transfer authorization key from the current registrar company and we will renew it after the transfer has been completed. There are no special terms on who can reserve a dot NAME domain, but in order to preserve the objective behind its establishment alive, the Registry organization may verify who the Registrant is and if there is no connection between the owner and the actual domain, the registration may be challenged.
